CEO Update

Recently I read in the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester, New York an article that began with this statement "Education is supposed to reduce the likelihood of being poor. Does being poor reduce the likelihood of being educated?" Too often our children, youth and families are left behind. After 8 years of the landmark legislation No Child Left Behind (NCLB), have we made good on its promises?Too often NCLB was left without any appropriations.

Now there is a new administration in Washington, D.C. which promises to provide the hopes and confidence of a new era. In the mist of the Great Recession of 2008, 2009 and countining, non profit organizations who operate charter schools with a purpose and dropout prevention programs are in need of fair and social financial balance.
