Light the Night

October 10, 2009. Light the Night is an annual charity walk held at Memorial Hospital West (Miramar, FL) in support of finding a cure for cancer, particularly Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Prior to the event, Aspirantes assisted with set-up, lightthenight1

monitoring bounce houses and concession stands as well. During the walk, balloons containing lights were lit; the track was aglow in a sea of beautiful red and white light. Aspirantes stationed around the route cheered on walkers, encouraging them as they passed. Afterwards, they helped breakdown the event. Aspirantes learned how rewarding a job well done could feel!
