“Rhythms of Africa” was held at the Miramar Cultural Arts Center’s Theater in Broward County.
Aspirantes were given the opportunity to learn basic drumming skills and perform in front of an amazing audience. Aspirantes learned their drumming skills in ten hours, living the audience amused and elated. They played three songs rich with rhythm, energy, and beats. The most important lesson Aspirantes were able to learn during this event is the appreciation of music formed by drums deriving from our African ancestors.
